These are Guest Rooms with a Loft to be shared between 4 women. The women’s dorm is a guaranteed rate; as a result, Mar de Jade reserves the right to assign roommates from different retreats in order to fill the dorm or to reassign participants to a guest room single or double if it doesn’t fill.

2. Book your room with Mar de Jade by paying a 50% deposit. Make sure you tell them you are with the "Relax and Renew Yoga Retreat".

We strongly encourage you to consider purchasing travel insurance. Websites like InsureMyTrip.com and Squaremouth make it easy to compare plans from multiple providers. Travel insurance can help protect your investment in case you need to cancel (including options for “Cancel for Any Reason” coverage), and can also cover unexpected costs related to weather delays, lost personal items, and emergency medical needs while traveling. Be sure to read the policy details carefully to find the coverage that best suits your needs.​

River Tree Yoga Retreat Cancellation Policy:
A $600 non-refundable deposit (tuition) is due at the time of booking. We wish we could compensate people for unforeseen circumstances (injury & health issues, family emergencies, inclement weather, etc.) but we have costs already incurred + contracts to honor when reserving retreat centers and hotels. Thank you for your understanding.

Mar de Jade Cancellation Policy for Guests:

If a guest cancels their reservation, they have two options: a full credit of their deposit toward a future

stay or a refund minus applicable cancellation fees (see details below). It is the Group Leader’s

responsibility to ensure that each participant agrees to the cancellation policy. No exceptions will be

made, regardless of unforeseen circumstances. We strongly recommend purchasing travel

insurance to protect their investment.

REFUND: Guests will be entitled to a full refund minus a $250 per person administrative cancellation

fee with notice at least 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date. With less than 59 days from arrival

guests will receive a credit for their deposit.

CREDIT: Guests will have the option of using their full deposit, with no cancellation fees, towards

another reservation at Mar de Jade within 18 months of the cancellation date if they cancel at least

14 days prior to arrival. No monetary refund will be given once the option of keeping the credit has

been chosen.

SHARED ROOMS: Room rates are based on occupancy. If a guest cancels their spot in a shared

room, any credits will first be applied to cover the rate difference for the remaining occupant before

any refund or credit is issued.

DONATION: If guests are willing to leave their full or partial deposit as a donation to our non-profit

community projects: El Jardin School and Tao de Jade Trade School, we would be so grateful, and

it would go a long way in providing education for the most vulnerable youth in our community during

Guests are responsible for all nights reserved at the rates reserved. There are no refunds or pro-

rating for arriving later or leaving earlier than the reserved dates, despite unforeseen circumstances

such as delayed or cancelled flights, illness, injury, etc.

The cancellation policy applies to all participants, even if the retreat leader can find a replacement

for the participant canceling. When there is a cancellation in a shared room, the rate for the remaining

participant(s) in that room will be adjusted according to the new occupancy.

CURRENCY FLUCTUATION 

Given the long lead time between contract signing and retreat dates, economic conditions such as

currency exchange rates, may shift. In recent years, the U.S. dollar has lost value against the

Mexican peso, increasing operational costs.

While Mar de Jade lists prices in U.S. dollars for guest convenience, expenses are paid in Mexican

pesos. If the exchange rate falls below 17 MXN per 1 USD, Mar de Jade reserves the right to adjust

rates for new reservations.

Any adjustments will apply only to bookings not yet secured with a deposit, and Mar de Jade will

notify the Retreat Organizer in writing 2 weeks in advance to allow for planning.
